About WerikUI

WerikUI is the first Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Graphical User Interface (GUI) modification.

This mod tries to appeal to those who prefer the cleared out, minimalistic but at the same time informative GUI over visually richer interfaces which take up more screen space.

Reason For The Lack Of Updates

As many of you have probably noticed, there were no new updates to the Age of Conan UI for quite a while now.
The reason for this is that I have simply lost faith in both Funcom and Age of Conan. I was waiting for quite some time for a rework of the customization system (which was promised to come), but so far there is no sign of it.

I've tried to update the mod at least four times in the past few months, but it is just so bloody tiring and unforgiving to work with this -simply put- mess, I slowly lost all the notion to continue trying.

I know that there are many of you still using and liking this UI, and I hope there will be someone with more patience and willpower than me who will continue this addon. If anyone wishes to do so, feel free to grab a copy of it from here and do with it as you feel proper.


In the meanwhile I will take a look at Mythic's new MMORPG, Warhammer Onine, it seems to have really robust and nice customization support!
I'll try to do a few smaller addons to get familiar with lua and xml in the upcoming months and maybe will try to do something real nice later on :)

WerikUI v1.3.1 Update

Only a fast update for the June 9th Patch.
It contains no other fixes, they will come later this week :)

WerikUI v1.3 is finally here!

Though this one was scheduled for the previous weekend, Mass Effect disagreed :-)

Lots of changes this time:

• Redesigned group frame
• New shortCut bars
• Rescaled advanced friend/group window

Also, two extra pre-customized versions:

• Bigger icons for wide screen resolutions
• Portraits moved closer to the center for smaller resolutions
